Robbyn's
Nest Designs Offers Hand-painted Needlepoint with
a Fine Art Flare.
Robbyn Nease, owner of Robbyn's Nest
Designs, embarked on her journey into the world of
needlepoint in 1999 by working as a painter for Barbara
Fox Designs. Inspired by Barbara's beautiful canvases
and encouraged by Barbara, Robbyn branched out on
her own in 2004 as a needlepoint designer.

As a lifetime artist, Robbyn was
excited to bring her own ideas to realization on
needlepoint canvas, and offers a different flavor
to the industry by re-interpreting her works of
art from other media into needlepoint design. Working
as a freelance artist, she has created work in a
variety of mediums, her favorites including pen
and ink, pastels and tapestries on deerskin suede
featuring nature themes inspired by the rural surroundings
of her home in New York State.

Art is a family affair for Robbyn. All four of her children
are artistic in some capacity, her oldest son and youngest
daughter holding degrees in Design and Animation. Her eldest
daughter Ashleigh, like her mother, holds a degree in Fine
Arts and has recently joined her in the needlepoint design
business. Ashleigh's designs are fun and quirky, and a wonderful
contrast to Robbyn's.

Robbyn's Nest offers a wide variety of needlepoint designs
ranging from elegant musical instruments to colorful children's
decor. Robbyn also specializes in creating extra-special
custom pieces, utilizing clients' ideas or by creating needlepoint
canvases from their favorite photographs.
